We brought our families to Tulum for some site visits (our wedding is in February). We wanted to stay at a hotel that would give them the Tulum experience, but with the comfort & amenities, they value. La Zebra was PERFECT! The staff was beyond friendly & helpful, the property was gorgeous, and every detail was carefully thought out.
My friend and I stayed for four nights for a much-needed girls trip and wished we could extend our trip because La Zebra was terrific in so many ways.
The pictures on the site and the TripAdvisor page cannot do it justice. Both the property and the beach were maintained meticulously. The staff was friendly, kind, and always happy to help. The decor was relaxed and current, and the restaurant/bar was also high.
When we checked in, we were slightly worried about our privacy and noise, as our private pool patio was visible to some of the beach and restaurant area. However, the proximity to the beach and bar ended up being extremely convenient. We felt safe and comfortable that we could see people from our private patio. It’s a small boutique hotel, which was essential for us. We also loved the diversity of the guests. We saw couples, bachelorette groups, friends, family reunions, etc.
I visited only for the day — convenient free parking for customers just across the street. Comfy, large beds to lay down, some w shade some without. F&B service by friendly and professional staff who recommended to try the cozumel flyboard tour. I chat a little w the Bartender who has been there for many years and with Gustavo -Restaurant Manager. Reasonable prices, good food selection, access to a restroom, and rooftop (small) pool. This is a great beach day option in Tulum!
My husband & I just returned from our honeymoon in Tulum, and La Zebra did not disappoint! It’s in a fantastic location, walking distance to lots of great restaurants & bars, the grounds are GORGEOUS, and the staff was so helpful and friendly.
They indeed took the time to make sure that we had a wonderful time, and it did not go unnoticed. Thank you to Flor, Cintia, Fili, Erick & Caesar who were especially significant. We are already planning our next trip back to La Zebra!
